Animal Testing Weekly Updates!

After Years of Suffering in Research Labs, Rescued Animals Finally Experience a Taste of Freedom. As animal lovers, it breaks our hearts to hear stories about what dogs, cats, chimps, rabbits, mice, and countless others endure in laboratory testing. Animals are used for everything from cosmetic to biomedical testing, but while the purpose of their captivity may differ, they all experience the same fear and pain. Knowing that many of these cruel tests are not only incredibly ineffective but also unnecessary, it seems absurd that we continue to subject living beings to life in a lab.
Luckily, there are many individuals and organizations working to put an end to testing and give animals a second chance at life. This video shows just a few of the animals who have been rescued from labs, and their reactions to their new-found freedom. Seeing these sweeties experience things like grass and sunshine for the very first time in their lives is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Share this video and encourage others to learn more about what they can do to end animal testing. We can all make more happy endings like these possible by speaking up for animals and demanding change!

U.S. Military Contractors Are Carving Up Live Animals

Tell Hennepin County Medical Center: Stop Harming Rabbits And Sheep.
Please help to save innocent animals from dying!

Sponsored by: Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine

Rabbits and sheep are suffering and dying in emergency medicine training at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Minneapolis. They need your help!

Emergency medicine residents practice on live animals — they are instructed to make incisions into the throats, chests, and even skulls of rabbits and sheep. The procedures continue even if the animal dies while on the operating table. If they survive the procedures, at the end, each innocent animal is killed one by one.

This is Animal Cruelty 101! And, it's ineffective!

Cutting up and killing innocent animals to train future emergency medicine physicians is an outrage — there are superior, nonanimal methods! In fact, HCMC already has a state-of-the-art simulation center that could provide the resources to replace the use of animals.

Please help stop this cruelty by taking action. Sign PCRM's petition to the CEO of HCMC — urge them to stop killing rabbits and sheep and switch to simulation now!
